Trip from Kathmandu, Nepal to Lhasa, Tibet via the Friendship Highway. After spending 2 weeks in Nepal I did the overland trip to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. An amazing 5 day drive through the most incredible landscape I have ever seen. Even after trekking up to Namche Bazaar and seeing Mt. Everest and the Himalayas up close I was blown away by this trip. There were 5 of us in our tour, plus a guide and a driver, in a very comfortable 7 seater van. We stayed at guest houses on the way to Lhasa.
